Introduction
Intelligent LC (ILC) combines rare skills to enable the creation and early commercialisation of new imaging technologies for ICT and Internet applications. ILC was created for the purpose of bringing superior visual clarity to applications that deliver video streaming content. Quality imagery is central in today’s Internet driven workplace and social environments and in any Internet context, visual clarity supports and gives credibility to the message content. The ILC team is led by distinguished Professor Kamran Eshraghian, best known in the international arena as the “grandfather” of CMOS VLSI Design, coauthor of Principles of CMOS VLSI Design: A Systems Perspective, a standard text used in over 800 universities throughout the world. Prof. Esharaghian is supported by a team of the world’s leading technologists in super resolution technology, which includes Professors Sarmiento, Tobajas, López, Callicó, De Armas Sosa and Nunez based at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
